A 2023 survey of information technology and cybersecurity professionals in worldwide organizations found that 35 percent of respondents noticed an increase in the number of e-mail spoofing. Furthermore, 90 percent discovered a counterfeit web domain in the past year, with over 60 percent encountering multiple such cases.
