Paris 2024 Paralympics: world records in track

During the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games, a host of world records were set in Para athletic events. In track disciplines, a noticeable number of records were broken by athletes who had set the previous records, such as in the men's T38 100m, with Jaydin Blackwell having set the former record at the U.S. team trials only one month previously. However, one event where this was not the case was in the women's T12 marathon, with Morocco's Fatima Ezzahra El Idrissi beating the former record held by Misato Michishita by over five minutes.
