The gender disparities in online shopping in the Nordic countries in 2023 were minimal. However, there were notably differences between age groups, as individuals aged 16 to 54 were made more online purchases than those aged 55 to 74. For example, in Finland, around 82 percent of men aged 16 to 24 bought goods via the internet, whereas only 45 percent of women aged 65 to 74 did the same.
