According to a study, among the most popular TV shows released between January and May 2024 in the United States, 56 percent of the leads in series on Netflix are non-white actors. In contrast, over half of the leads in TV shows on Hulu, Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+, as well as on the networks CBS and NBC, are white.
