In 2023, the number of mobile wallet transactions in Ghana exceeded 171 million, the majority of which were wallet to wallet transactions. That year, wallet to wallet transactions reached a volume of around 167.6 million, while wallet to bank transactions amounted to approximately 3.7 million. Wallet to e-zwich transfer operations were the least popular in the country.
