According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2024, around 49 percent of male and 46 percent of female respondents stated that they used Subscription-Video-on-Demand (SVoD) or video streaming services several times a week. A significant share of consumers across both groups used such services on a daily basis.
