Reasons for having SVoD subscriptions South Korea 2024, by age

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2024, around 56 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older stated that they subscribed to Subscription-Video-on-Demand (SVoD) or video streaming service providers because they had a larger variety than cable and satellite TV. Another common reason was wanting to watch original content released by a specific provider.
