U.S. Gen Z social network users 2024, by type

According to a survey conducted in the United States between July 2023 and June 2024, 69 percent of Generation Z social media users considered themselves followers, while 63 percent said they were social media communicators. Additionally, 40 percent of respondents reported being content posters. One in ten social media users belonging to Gen Z considered themselves passive users of social media.
