Title translation and localization among leading iOS apps in the U.S. 2023
According to a study conducted in 2023 among the most popular iOS mobile apps available on the Apple App Store in the United States, 60 percent of apps chose to translate or localize their title when entering into another market in the past year. In comparison, almost 90 percent of the leading iOS apps on the U.S. market opted to have their product description translated into the language of the additional markets they were entering. In the examined period, six over 10 iOS apps popular in the U.S. had their subtitles localized for the non-English-speaking markets they entered.
