As of November 2023, 63 percent of leaders in the technology industry in Israel identified the field of artificial intelligence (AI) as the most noteworthy trend expected in 2024. This was followed by cyber security and defense tech. In contrast, only two percent of the respondents pointed to blockchain technologies as important, reflecting a continuous loss of interest in this formerly trending technology.
