In the United States, about 45 percent of parents with a household income of under 50,000 U.S. dollars said they buy pre-owned school supply products when they are available in 2024. Those earning more than that were the least likely to buy such items, but were also the respondents most likely to say they would not feel guilty about sending their kids to school with pre-owned goods.
