In 2022, the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) allocated a total value of 21 million Israeli shekels (about 5.7 million U.S. dollars) in grants to start-ups in the field of semiconductors. This reflected a slight decrease in comparison to the previous year. Still, between 2019 and 2022 the value of state investment decreased by over 63 percent. Overall,the share of IIA funding dedicated to semiconductor ventures was relatively small in comparison to other verticals.
