In 2023, a significant portion of respondents in Europe were concerned about the mis-selling of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) funds - meaning these funds could be marketed or sold as meeting ESG criteria when they actually don't. The share of respondents in the 55+ age group were the most concerned, at around 67 percent.
