According to a survey conducted in Australia in March 2024, 87 percent of the surveyed adults in the country said that they would support policies in subsidizing the development of renewable energy technologies. In contrast, 43 percent of the respondents stated that they would oppose policies that introduce a carbon tax or an emissions trading system.
