According to a survey from early 2024, American video streaming viewers were more likely to subscribe to an SVOD platform only for a certain piece of content and then unsubscribe than their European counterparts. Nearly one in three respondents from the U.S. revealed that they often use the practice called subscription cycling. By contrast, 10 percent of European people interviewed stated to sign up only for a specific program.
