Brits on social media tackling misinformation during riots 2024, by age group

According to a survey conducted in August 2024 in Britain, 50 percent of respondends aged 50 to 64 years felt that k social media networks did a very bad job at handling misinformation during the recent riots in England. Additionally, 50 percent of those aged 65 years and older felt the same. Overall, 13 percent of respondents aged 18 to 24 years thought that social media platforms did a fairly good job at tackling misinformation during the far-right riots which took place between the end of July and the beginning of August 2024.
