Experiences with food distribution North Korea 2000-2020

According to a survey conducted on North Korean defectors living in South Korea, more than 72 percent of respondents who defected between 2016 and 2020 reported not having received food rations from North Korean authorities. The share of respondents who did not receive food rations in North Korea has increased significantly in recent years.
