In 2024, the most popular way Irish consumers took action to reduce their impact on climate change was buying more sustainable products or products with a reduced climate impact, with 43 percent of surveyed consumers identifying with this behavior. A similar share of respondents (41 percent) were more considerate about which purchases they made because they wanted to reduce their overall consumption.
