Change in average time spent per day on social networks in the United States 2024

In 2024, Reddit will witness the largest change in average daily time spent among social media users in the United States. The online community platform will have an increase of 11 percent year-over-year in daily time spent. Instagram will also experience an increase of 1.3 percent in usage time, compared to the previous year. Other social media platforms will see a decrease in the time users spend engaging with their services per day, particularly Snapchat which is expected to see a decline in time spent by 4.5 percent.
