In the 4th quarter of 2023, the share of Southeast Asian internet users who visited social media platforms to research brands and products they considered buying was highest in Vietnam, at about 82 percent. Contrastingly, around 63 percent of the internet users in Singapore visited social media platforms for the same purpose during that period.
