According to a survey conducted in Japan in January 2024, 17.9 percent of the respondents aged 15 to 19 years old used Threads. This demographic had the highest share of Threads users, followed by people in their twenties. Threads was launched in July 2023 as an alternative to Twitter, which was rebranded to X during the same month.
