In the first quarter of 2024, Netflix by far ordered the most originals among American-based SVOD providers, with the number of commissions surpassing the 200-mark for the fifth time between 2020 and 2024. Amazon recorded the second highest amount of orders at the beginning of 2024, followed by Disney.
