Main reasons to use food delivery services in Italy 2024

A survey conducted in Italy in 2024 shows which are the main reasons for consumers to use food delivery services rather than going to physical locations. The most chosen reason, at around 60 percent, is convenience, showing that more consumers tend to select practicality. Still within this lane, as the second most selected option, there is the possibility of making the orders in advance or selecting a better delivery time, at about 40 percent. Online payment, around 35 percent, is also shown as a strong reason to opt for delivery services because of its convenience. At around 15 percent, the least chosen reason for ordering delivery services is the consumer being able to see reviews of the food and also places.
