Consumer distribution in the Caribbean countries 2024, by class

In the Dominican Republic, nearly 91.7 percent of consumers earned at least the equivalent of the top 40 percent of global income earners in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms in 2022. This was the highest in the Caribbean. In terms of those earning at least the equivalent of the top 10 percent of global income earners, the Bahamas had the highest level at 24.77 percent.
