In the academic year 2022/2023, of the over 446,000 higher education students in Portugal, almost 99,000 studied business sciences, administration, and law. With 88,500 students, engineering, manufacturing, and construction was the second-most chosen study field. While the engineering field dominated in Northern Portugal, the business one was the most relevant in Greater Lisbon.
