Frequency of bicycle use in Germany 2019-2024

The share of Germans who never cycle dropped from a quarter to just over a fifth between 2019 and 2022, but increased again to 26 percent in 2024. The share of people cycling every day, however, increased in this period, rising from 17 percent in 2019 to 21 percent in 2024.
