In a survey about mental health in the workplace in Ireland to employers, the respondents indicated their agreement with the statement "mental health is a personal issue and not one which should be addressed at work". Overall, the majority of employers across all company sectors disagreed with the statement. The percentages where the agreement with the statement was the highest was in the construction sector with 16 percent, followed by wholesale and retail with 11 percent.
