On August 6, Kamala Harris announced Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential election in November. According to a survey taken shortly after the selection, 22 percent of those between 18 and 29 years old thought it was the best possible pick for Harris's running mate. In comparison, 26 percent of those 65 and older agreed that it was the best pick she could have made.
