A survey that was conducted in Japan in August 2023 showed that more than half of the respondents in their twenties were using unlimited music streaming services. More than 37 percent of the respondents in this age group stated to use a paid service, which was the highest share among all age groups included in the survey. An additional 3.39 percent stated to use both free and paid services.
