The share of movies released on American PVOD platforms notably increased from 2022 to 2023. NBCU grew its premium titles from eight percent to 67 percent, while Lionsgate reported 13 percent of released movies in 2022, but 47 percent one year later. Sony was the only studio that declined its share of PVOD or PEST movie releases in 2023.
