Based on bank accounts of individual customers who received salary or bonus payments at least once during the surveyed period. The statistic includes figures of Mizuho Bank, MUFG Bank, Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation, Resona Bank, Saitama Resona Bank, and Japan Post Bank.
Figures represent the share of online banking transfers in the total amount of payments from individual bank accounts of six major banks, which reached 286 trillion Japanese yen in 2023.
