Lower prices and wider choice of products were the top two reasons for Austrian shoppers to engage in cross-border e-commerce in 2023. In a survey conducted in selected European markets that year, nearly half of surveyed Austrian shoppers were motivated to purchase online from other countries due to lower prices offered.
