A survey between December 2023 and January 2024 found that lifetyle games were the most popular gaming genre based on the number of purchases among high-value gaming spenders in the United States and Canada. Mid-value spenders were also most likely to spend money on lifestyle mobile games. Low-value spenders were most likely to make the most in-game purchases in RPG titles.
