In a survey conducted in March 2024 among Australian consumers regarding food delivery behaviors and preferences, over 50 percent of respondents said that they chose to try out a new restaurant due to its menu selection and pricing, respectively. Recommendations from friends or family, as well as promotions and discounts, were also key incentives to order from a new restaurant.
