As of May 2024, 55 percent of U.S. consumers stated in a survey to be comfortable with AI being used for sound effects in movies or TV series they watch, making this the most acceptable aspect of the production with the use of AI. Meanwhile, over half of respondents were not comfortable with AI being used for a digital replica of a deceased or a living human actor.
