Monthly value of trade between Israel and Turkey 2023-2024
In December 2024, imports to Israel from Turkey were valued at 57.1 million U.S. dollars. This represented a decline of almost 84 percent since March 2024. In the same period, Israeli exports to Turkey came to a virtual halt. Due to rising diplomatic tensions between the countries in relation to the war in Gaza, Turkey began restricting trade with Israel in April 2024. On May 2, 2024, it announced a full trade embargo on Israel. Generally, after a period of decline, imports and exports from Israel began to recover in the first quarter of 2024.
