Germany: active public charging points by start-up year 1992-2024

Over 35,900 charging points in Germany started their activity in 2023, making it the year with the most new electric vehicle charging points. The volume of EV chargers in the country has been steadily increasing over the past decades, but this growth accelerated in 2016 and 2018, when the amount of new charging points more than doubled.
