Between 2021 and 2025, the global aviation plans to offset 381 megatons of carbon dioxide(CO₂) from its operations. Moreover, the CO₂reduction is estimated to be 8,164 megatons from 2046 to 2050. These milestones will be achieved mostly through extensive use of sustainable aviation fuel and new aircraft technologies.
