During Prime Days, investment in advertising on Amazon usually increases, although there are differences between the available formats. On the occasion of the 2024 edition of Amazon Prime Days, ad spend grew by 29 percent for sponsored products. Compared to Prime Days 2023, ad spend on sponsored brands increased by ten percent. Marketers seemed to have favored products and brands formats over sponsored display, which saw ad spend decline by 26 percent from 2023.
