In an April 2024 survey conducted in India regarding reasons for purchasing electric vehicles, approximately 44 percent of respondents reported the contribution to a cleaner environment as a key reason. Furthermore, 31 percent of respondents stated the desire to avoid fuel costs and fluctuations in fuel prices as a main factor in their decision to choose electric vehicles.
