As of December 2023, 92 percent of patients surveyed in Canada reported finding the online source/patient portal where they access their PHI to be credible or trustworthy. A further 88 percent stated feeling more informed about their health as a result of accessing their PHI online, with a similar share also finding the patient portal easy to use.
