ASEAN: views on the Israel-Hamas conflict by country 2024

In a survey conducted in ten Southeast Asian countries in 2024, the most frequently held view among respondents from Southeast Asia on the Israel-Hamas conflict in 2024 was that Israel’s attack on Gaza had gone too far. Another common view held across many countries was that Israel was entitled to retaliate subject to international law.
