Cybersecurity is a major concern for internet users, and sometimes they even limit certain online activities to minimize possible risks associated with online use. According to a survey conducted in May 2024, half of adults in the United States avoid clicking on ads online due to cybersecurity concerns. Comparatively, only 23 percent of users limited their online shopping due to security reasons.
