A 2024 survey found that 92 percent of Gen Z users used search engines most frequently to look for answers to specific questions, compared to around 87 percent of all interviewed internet users. Similarly, 86 percent of Gen Z users used these tools to seek opinions or experiences from social networks or communities, a higher percentage than the 74 percent of all internet users who reported doing the same.
