CORSIA-eligible carbon (CEC) credits were assessed at 1.41 U.S. dollars per metric ton of carbon dioxide equivalent (USD/teCO₂e) in 2023, compared with 4.77 USD/teCO₂e in 2022. CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) is a global market-based measure designed to offset international aviation CO₂ emissions in order to reduce emissions within the sector. Meanwhile, Platts CRC, which reflects removals-based carbon credit projects, was assessed at 13.36 USD/teCO₂e in 2023.
