In 2021 and 2022, around two thirds of small and medium-sized companies in Switzerland surveyed stated that it had been rather or very difficult for them to fill vacancies with suitable candidates in the past three years. In contrast, only four percent stated that it was very easy to find skilled employees to fill vacancies, while around 27 percent found it rather easy.
