As of 2023, the outlook held towards Environmental, Social and Corporate-Governance (ESG) in the United States seemed to be tied to political ideologies. With the most popular answer across all three categories being "unsure" about their overall view towards ESG, the second most popular answer among Republican respondents was "negative", accounting for almost one-third of responses. From respondents aligned with the Democratic Party, 45 percent stated they had a positive view while Independent responses were more varied with positive and negative views being almost evenly split.
