Get in touch with us nowAccording to the Health Behavior in School-aged Children study, 38 percent of eleven-year-old Italian pupils were victims of bullying and cyberbullying in 2022. As age progresses, the frequency of physical or online violence against teenagers committed by their peers reduced. Only 20 percent of 15-year-old teenagers experienced bullying episodes. However, violence was more common for girls than boys, cyberbullying in particular. In fact, 21 percent of eleven-year-old girls were victims of a cyberbully, compared to 17 percent of boys. Among 13-year-old teenagers, 18 percent of school girls experienced virtual violence, vis-à-vis 13 percent of boys.
