The number of venture capital (VC) funding rounds in the United Kingdom (UK) increased steadily between 2014 and 2021, when it peaked at nearly 4,500. In 2022 and 2023, however, the number of VC funding rounds in the UK decreased significantly, reaching approximately 3,000.
