Croatia had the fastest-growing home improvement market in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in 2022. Over the course of that year, the market size in Croatia increased by almost 45 percent. The country's DIY segment, which includes DIY and hardware stores, grew by approximately 10 percent. In contrast, Ukraine's home improvement market recorded a 51-percent decline in sales due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
